Spring as sprung, pool season is officially upon us and you are growing and developing by leaps & bounds daily. This month was hard for me… my father, your grandfather Ron passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack. We text that Monday about cute photos of you in a cowboy hat, and on Tuesday he was gone. Grief is breathtaking. You never know when he’s coming and then he springs up like the jack-in-the-box you never wanted and kicks the air from your lungs. I hope you are never well acquainted with him… I really do. The silver lining of it all as that we went to the Tri-Cities (where I was born) for the funeral, got to hang out with Grandma Martha & Uncle Brian and, you got to meet family that you may not have otherwise met. You are such a good little traveler. You slept mostly on the plan (thank you!) and seemed really chill about your routine being turned on it’s head. This month seemed busier than normal with the unexpected travel back to Washington, but I still tried to squeeze in parks & play dates for you because lil’ mamma you are BUSY! As always, your laugh is everything and this month especially I was so very grateful for the sunshine that is you. Thank you baby girl…l keep on shining!
