This month you went on your 2nd plane ride to Hawaii! Grandma Connie and I signed up to run the Hawaii Marathon in Waikiki, my first race after having you .We decided to make it a family vacation so Dad & Grandma Bev Sue came too! I was nervous about the race because I broke my toe tripping on your pack & play a couple months ago, but it went well and I was able to finish w/out limping! The course was stunning, but mostly hills so kinda rude, but it was so nice being in paradise with our family. Much of the exploration of Oahu we did was in search of food Dad heard about, but we also checked out the North Shore and took a pretty ride across the island. You are such a good little traveler. You like the sand, and running the hallways of the hotel. Can’t wait to explore more of this world with you.
We went to a holiday party at Auntie Roxanne’s house where you saw more kids than ever. You and Grayson toddled around, while the big kids made Christmas cookies… you had a good time! This month you also had your 2nd Christmas. We had brunch at our house with both grandmas, plus Ruthie & Jordan came. You me & Dad got all corny and decked out in matching Christmas pajamas. I look forward to looking back at pictures of this tradition in years to come… you’ll probably be embarrassed by it some day, but until then I' will revel in every corny moment. New Year’s Eve was quiet. In the day time we took in the views from Grandma Bev Sue’s rooftop deck, and had a pajama jammy jam with Grandma Connie in the evening. You are so loved little girl. It makes my heart swell to know it. I’ve loved you from the moment I knew you existed, but as I get to know you, that feeling grows more and more. I hope you had happy holiday’s this year, and I look forward to celebrating all of life with you forever more.
